This course considers the many components that contribute to the delivery of quality care. The module will focus on the patient journey, patient choice and preferred place of care. The importance of the multidisciplinary team in high-quality care delivery will be a key component of the module. The module will support the practitioner to critically evaluate their practice when caring for patients will palliative and end of life care needs and carers. The experience of the palliative care patient will be explored in addition to the emotional and informational needs of the patient and their family.This course is aimed at registered health care professionals working in clinical areas with patients receiving care for advanced disease in palliative or end of life care. This is a multi-professional course which is relevant to both primary and secondary care.
